Since 2005, international engineering and related consultancy services company Beca has designed and project managed a range of landside and airside infrastructure projects at Melbourne Airport.  One area has been the 11kV/22kV Upgrade project to create a 22kV ring main around the northern part of the airport, providing strong redundancy to the airport HV reticulation system.

PowerEarth Technologies Pty Ltd are supporting Beca by performing soil resistivity testing and eEarthing installation verification testing for thirteen (13) high voltage (HV) substation and RMU sites.  Specifically this involves soil resistivity testing for all sites; Current Injection testing, plus Step Potential, Touch Potential, and current distribution validation for the extensive HV cabled network.
