Phillip Morriss is the Founder and Managing Director of PowerEarth Technologies. Design and analysis expert in the high voltage electrical power fields of system protection, earthing system design and testing, system safety, lightning protection, inductive, capacitive and conductive hazard issues under steady state and faulted conditions.
Phillip founded PowerEarth Technologies (formally Morriss Engineering Solutions) in September 1994.

Phillip has continually directed PowerEarth to be one of the very few Australian consultancies that can provide innovative analysis and design for the safety of electrical power systems, installations, operators and general public with respect to power system earth faults, lightning phenomenon and AC Interference issues.

Phillip manages a team of highly skilled and dedicated Professional Electrical Engineers that are well respected and top of their specialised field in the electrical engineering discipline.

Hooman is CPEng, NPER, RPEQ and a Principal Electrical Engineer with more than 20 years experience in design and commissioning of power and earthing systems. His novel studies on both renewable energy and power electronics earned him his PhD and the Curtin University Chancellor’s Award in 2003. He is the author of two patents, two book chapters and numerous journal and conference papers.
